The short version
The free preview tools run in your browser. Images you drop into the workspace stay on your machine unless you save a project or create a poll. We collect the minimum we need to run accounts, polls and subscriptions, and we don't sell any of it or run ads.
What we collect
Account. Your email address, your plan, and the channel identity defaults you choose to save (channel name, typical views). Sign-in works through emailed links, so we never see or store a password.
Images. Thumbnails you upload to a poll or save as a project are stored so we can show them. Poll images are public to anyone with the poll link. Project images are private to your account.
Votes. When someone votes on a poll, we store the chosen option and a one-way hash built from the voter's IP address and browser signature. The hash lets us enforce one vote per person on that poll. We cannot turn it back into an IP address, and we don't store the raw IP with the vote. We also record which site the voter arrived from, when the browser shares it.
Usage counters. For paid features with monthly allowances (like niche search) we count how many times you used them. Numbers only.
Payments
Lemon Squeezy handles all payments as the merchant of record. Your card details go to them, never to us. We store your subscription status and plan so the app knows what you have access to. Their privacy policy lives at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
YouTube data
Poppr uses YouTube API Services to fetch public video details (titles, view counts, thumbnails) for the competitor features. By using those features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (youtube.com/t/terms). Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. We cache the public metadata we fetch; we don't access your YouTube account.
Cookies
We set a session cookie when you sign in, and a small cookie on polls you've voted on so you see results instead of a second vote prompt. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Where your data lives
Data is stored with Supabase (hosted in the EU, eu-west-1) and the site runs on Vercel. Both act as processors for us.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account yourself from the Account page. That removes your profile, polls, votes, projects and every stored image. It takes effect immediately and we can't undo it. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data or for deletion.
